With vintage clothing it's often hard to tell what size items are because brands have their own sizing guides and many of these items are from different decades.

To help you in your shopping experience we measure every item to assure you of your purchase.

Below are diagrams to show how we measure our items.

We lay the items flat then we do a armpit to armpit measurement as shown.

Then we flip the item over and do a measurement of the back. The back measurement starts right at the bottom seam of the collar where it connects to the yoke (the fabric that sits across the shoulders) straight down to the hem of the item at its longest point.

For dresses, we do the same armpit to armpit measurement.

However we only do a back measurement if there is a seam around the waist that indicates the bottom of the back.

Otherwise you will see a full length measurement that starts either at the bottom seam of the collar, if it has one (like the shirts), or at the top of the shoulder, and it goes all the way down to the bottom of the skirt at its longest point.

For our pants we measure the waist, the full length, the inseam, and the opening of the leg width. All of these measurements taken lying flat.
